Pregnancy is a very challenging stage in a woman’s life. While every pregnancy is different, when you are pregnant your body has to deal with a lot of physical and emotional changes. These changes include uncommon signs of pregnancy that at first you may not link to pregnancy. Pimples Or Acne

Poor Appetitie

In some pregnancy, women may tend to eat less. It seems the body will actually starving what is good for the mother and the baby. It is a good sign if you develop less appetite to unhealthy foods, but if you eat less than the required nutrient needs for your body, you have to consult your doctor.

Belly Button Pain

This symptom is due to the pressure if the growing uterus in your abdomen. Soreness will appear around the second trimester and after that, it will subside.

Other Signs And Symptoms

Some women may also experience metallic taste in mouth. This is one of the earliest symptoms of pregnancy but its reason is still unknown. Spider veins are one of the most unwanted signs of pregnancy. It occurs due to the increased blood flow that happens when you become pregnant. In addition, the increased amounts of the hormone oestrogen and blood flow can case nasal congestion. This symptom can last during the entire pregnancy and even for weeks after delivery.

Myth – Gaining less weight during pregnancy will make labour and delivery easier.

Fact – Premature birth is a great risk if mothers do not gain enough weight during pregnancy. It affects the baby’s lungs and heart.

Myth – During pregnancy, it is important for you to eat twice as much to gain more weight.

Fact – it is correct that your nutritional needs increase, but energy requirements should only increase about 300 calories each day starting from the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
