They are still fairly new and the facilities are clean and fresh. The decor is completely done up with Roman sculptures but the marble was the real nice touch.

 The Wylie Court Motor Lodge is one of the best deals for your money. Don’t panic at the word motor. This place is really a classy place to stay in Rotorua but somehow still has amazingly affordable rates. The motel is located just a two minute drive from the town center and has a really beautiful lush garden. You will love the thermally heated pool, especially by nighttime. Most of the rooms are actually apartment style with complete kitchen, sitting room, TV and nice bathroom. My family of four planned on staying in the “2 bedroom family unit” until I realized the “One bedroom mezzanine unit” has its own plunge pool. This booking was actually cheaper and basically the same size. You could fit 6 people into this room because there is also a pull out couch. The difference is that it is on two floors, with two single beds or a queen on the ground floor. We put the kids there and had the entire upstairs to ourselves! For a family, you couldn’t ask for a better deal. The initial price for two people is between NZ $140-$180 per night. Most of the terrible hotels would ask for a huge amount for each additional person so this actually comes out much cheaper. Having our own kitchen with coffee maker saved us quite a bit of money in those cafes and we could go straight to our activities. Plus, you get a lot of free extras like a continental breakfast in the hotel restaurant. There is a nice fireplace and a homely feel to the place and the food is good. There is really nothing bad I can say about this place. The rooms maybe lacked some character but they made up for it in amenities. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Rotorua, especially families.

If you want to master the art of dancing then you should join the Arthur Murray dancing club. The atmosphere if friendly and you will feel as if you are in your own home because the professionals here are all very kind.
