Woodlands Historic Park - Melbourne

Woodlands Historic Park is a reserve that offers a glimpse into the Melbourne that would have originally been discovered by explorers.

Having been kept in the style of early settlers it also has a fantastic homestead on site.

There are nature walks and fabulous displays of native flora, with many walking tracks available.

Native wildlife is a common sight through the park and it is a great place for international visitors.

Picnics are encouraged and volunteers help to maintain the park for guests, allowing for free entry and use of facilities.

The homestead has had a range of influential owners over the years and when you visit the staff will be happy to give you the history of the home, built in the 1840s.
