The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant

The Colonial Tramcar restaurant is a great way to see inner Melbourne as you eat a feast of lovely food prepared on board. Styled on the original trams of the colonial era, guests will find that it feels as though they have been transported back in time. With special arrangements in suspension, there are no concerns with rattling glasses or losing cutlery, everything has been secured very well and the tram operates very smoothly. You’ll need to pre-book your seat and arrange to pay ahead of time and then you’re free to enjoy your evening. Heading in a circle around town you’ll leave the tram in the same place as you board. This award-winning restaurant is a great event for tourists and locals alike. Location: Tramstop #125 Normanby Road, near the corner of Clarendon Street, adjacent to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and Crown Casino. Opening Hours: A pre theatre dinner and later dinner operate daily. Lunch and breakfast are also available on request for group bookings - full details on website.
