Climbing the Story Bridge is probably one of the best ways to see Brisbane. Available seven days a week and in almost any weather, this adventure experience is a must for locals and visitors to this city. Children from 10 years of age may also climb provided they meet the minimum height requirements (130cm). Attached to the bridge, climbers choose to take to the summit at one of four times of the day. Available as Dawn, Day, Twilight and Night climbs. Bookings can be made on their website or by phone, or alternatively gift certificates are also available. The website features a lot of information on the climb itself and is a great starting point to planning a trip. For those looking to overcome a fear of heights, there is also a simulator at the Bridge Climb headquarters, where everyone can have the opportunity to get an idea of what to expect. Make the group leader aware of any fears and they will be available via radio equipment to encourage the realization of this goal. Prices start at just $89 for an adult.
