They are still fairly new and the facilities are clean and fresh. The decor is completely done up with Roman sculptures but the marble was the real nice touch.

The smell of grilled meat permeates the place, a bit of an Oxford Street institution. It got a bit of a tarting up a while back - it may look mock-Sydney glam now but rest assured the grills haven't changed.

Two nights a week they offer a ‘paddle and eat’ opportunity where customers can go kayaking along the Brisbane River followed by a meal. If you’re just interested in the adventure side, they have a number of activities available including abseiling, day and night kayaking as well as bicycle and roller blade hire for those who prefer a self-guided experience of Brisbane city.

Brookwater Golf Club is more than a sporting venue. The Greg Norman designed course is among Australia’s best. Stretching over 6.5 kilometres it is a picturesque and technical environment for both the weekend golfer and professionals.
