Every Sunday, the Riverside Art and Craft Markets are open to the public. Despite the name there is an abundance of wares on display and it is not purely restricted to craft items. The markets here have been running for 22 years and are a favorite with locals and tourists alike. Wandering through the market itself everything and anything is available, from furniture to food, arts and crafts to tarot readings and fashion to plants. Key stalls to investigate include the Lollipop Lady and Art on Didgeridoos who are regulars at this event. With the location being amongst some fantastic cafés and restaurants, coming down early and stopping off for a bite to eat while taking in the view can all be accomplished without ever leaving the pier, and allows for a rest break between bouts of shopping.
