Puzzling World - New Zealand

One of the most popular tourist spots at Lake Wanaka is Puzzling World, and it gains its popularity for a good reason!

Right when you approach the place, you already realize what you are in for.

The architecture of the complex is all topsy-turvy and bright colors.

One of the really impressive yet humorous towers is “The Leaning Tower of Wanaka”.

It is pulled out of the ground and balancing at 53 degrees.

I don’t care how old you are- this is amazing! Once you actually enter Puzzling World, the fun just gets better.

The main attraction is the giant labyrinth.

It is designed to be more fun than challenging but that doesn’t mean it is easy.

You will spend at least a half an hour here, and that is if you are lucky.

The other part of Puzzling World are the Illusion Rooms. I really liked the hall of following faces.

There are pictures of famous people covering the entire wall and their faces literally look at you as you move around.

My son really liked the tilted house where everything is tilted at 15 degress.

The illusion was really strong. For any of you who were hippies, you will be having flashbacks!

Definitely plan to have at least a drink in the café because there are all sorts of puzzles to do.

The staff is really nice and are there to help you figure out how to work the various gizmos.

Plus, the ceiling is a giant kaleidoscope. You can spend quite a few hours in this place and be entertained the whole time.

I really like that they made Puzzling World something that kids and their parents can enjoy.

Yes, even the adults will have trouble with some of the puzzles!
