Open Office

Free office suite for your computer that works fine with any Microsoft Office document including Office 2007. You can create and edit documents that can also be edited and created in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc. This product is free and created as a free high quality alternative for the public. I've used it a fare bit on different computer when doing community training work because it is free and it worked fine. I've got a licensed version of Microsoft Office so I usually use that myself but I would recommend this for anyone who wants to save a few hundred dollars. Theres also a portable version available which I distributed during training sessions on USB drives. The portable version installs and runs from your USB drive meaning you can edit office documents on computers that don't have office installed simply by inserting your USB drive and running Open Office from there.
