Normanby Hotel

The place to be on a Sunday night/arvo. Dress whats comfortable, most are pretty dolled up but some are wearing shorts and thongs ... that's what makes it comfortable. There's live bands in the courtyard, DJ upstairs, restaurant downstairs, smoking garden setup near the courtyard, several bars, pool tables ... generally very packed with a mixed crowd. Generally pretty cool and it'll feel like it's a Fri or Sat night.

St Helens Point - Bay of Fires - Tasmania
St Helens Point has vast sand dunes along the beach. The native grass keeps the dunes stabilized and allows for other plants to grow in the area. Another odd feature of St Helens Point in the fresh water at Onion Creek. It seems really out of place in the Sahara-like landscape.
