Kosciuszko National Park Mario's Mineshaft - Restaurant & Bar is a great family restaurant in Jindabyne.

You will like this place because of the great atmosphere with tables around a warm fire roaring in the earth. After spending a small fortune on your skiing holiday at Kosciuszko, you will also like the affordable prices here!

The menu is Italian but with a very good selection. There are lots of salads, types of breadsticks and soup options.

The pizzas and calzones are really good with a nice smoky flavor because they are cooked in a wood fired oven.

Of course, there were tons of spaghetti dishes. I was excited to see options like black mussels and garlic prawns on the menu.

There were also options like steak in mushroom or pepper sauce, trout in wine sauce, and veal done in several ways. If you can’t decide, they also have an all-you-can-eat buffet. It was one of the better buffets that I have seen. There is a small kids menu and even a kids play area in the restaurant.
