Margaret River Chocolate Company I shouldn’t have to explain why you should visit the Margaret River Chocolate Company.

First of all, the entrance is completely free and you will get treated to some delicious chocolate samples. Of course, they will expect you to buy something but, after tasting the goodies here, you are going to be stocking up on delectable treats.

The handmade truffles were some of the best I’ve ever tried (and I am a real chocolate connoisseur) and there were many other types of products other than your standard chocolate bars: ice cream, chocolate-coated honey comb, ginger chocolate and much more.

They also make and sell some great jams, olive oils and spreads and some other high-end products. It is really a foodies heaven. There is a small café where you can sit down and eat a light lunch. Even if you don’t want to eat at the chocolate company, you should at least have a coffee and treat the kids to a milkshake. Once you have filled yourself with treats, you can read the displays about chocolate production.
