Klub Oktober

Thornbury

Klub Oktober is a fantastic Serbian rock bar and club. They have really great live concerts featuring some of the Balkan's best bands- or at least Serbs covering the best bands from the "Yu Wave." If you didn't know that Serbia had great music in the 1980s, you will find it out here. The parties get really wild and you'll definitely have a good time. The website is in Serbian, but you will probably be able to figure out when the next live concert is anyway. They have a facebook page with 200+ members, just to give you an idea how popular the place is. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=10916956935&v=wall

If you love meat served with a side of meat, than this unobtrusive restaurant is for you. Zorro's is run by a Serbian man and his wife and all the Balkan food is authentic and traditional. The portions are more than generous. Even the salads with cheeses or the side dishes offer something really special.

If you or your children have an interest in money and the history of it in Australia, then heading down to the ‘Gothic Bank’ to the ANZ museum will give you a host of information and history. You can see early bank notes and currency as it has changed through the years as well as old money boxes and information on banking systems of the past.
Pet Porpoise Pool - Coffs Harbour NSW
The dolphins are the most popular and you can literally get kissed by them. Pet Porpoise Pool works as a rehabilitation center for animals as well as an educational center so the animals really come first. My kids loved feeding the penguins and I think they learned quite a bit from the shows were fantastic.
