The Queensland Art Gallery is Queensland's premier visual arts institution and a leading art museum nationally. The many forms of art include things such as Indigenous Australian Art, Queensland Heritige and even International Art.

To get to the observatory, you first walk the 1.6km jetty into the sea. It is free to go out onto the jetty and that alone is worth experiencing.

Once you are out at the end, you really feel like you are in the middle of the sea.
