For a number of years ING has been well known as a top option for high interest savings accounts with no fees. Currently I believe they offer 7% but please check their site to see what they are offering when you read this. The was it works is that you open an account with them and link it to an existing account that you have with your everyday bank provider so you can transfer money in and out of your ING account ie. (Savings Maximiser). They seem to offer more products these days but I'm only familiar with the savings maximiser. Also be aware that the interest you earn on these sort of accounts is seen as income and the taxation office is automatically notified each financial year so you need to declare it as income and pay income tax when tax time comes around.
