Flinders Chase National Park - Kangaroo Island

Flinders Chase National Park Of all the many experiences on Kangaroo Island, Flinders Chase National Park is one of the most amazing.

The park has so many different natural attractions that you can really spend quite a few days exploring the area. The most popular attractions are Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks, both of which can be seen in the same trip.

Admirals Arch is located right along the water. You can observe a colony of seals from a boardwalk. The sheer rock coastline is incredible. It has been smoothed and shaped by the tides over the years. Remarkable Rocks are just as impressive. They are huge wind-shaped boulders which look more like abstract artwork than something nature created.

You will need an hour’s drive from to get to these attractions from the visitor center. There are many other self-guided tours you can do and great natural hikes. Around Black Swamp is where you can see the most koalas. Also, visit the Cape Borda Lighthouse. If is well worth is to hire a park ranger for a guided tour of the area.

Even if you don’t chose to do this, they will give you so much information at the visitor center.
