Clownfish Club at Hamilton Resort Let’s face it: sometimes you don’t want your kids with you on vacation. My husband and I returned to the Whitsundays last year with our two kids in tow.

We both really wanted to take a romantic airplane ride to Whitehaven and have a bottle of wine. Not only do some of the romantic things get ruined with kids, but the prices of tours can be heavy!

Who wants to pay $100 for a cruise tour that their kids probably won’t appreciate? I was really excited to learn about the Clownfish Club on Hamilton Island.

It is a new facility which operates like a daycare- only a very entertaining one. The staff divides the kids into different groups and have the most amazing range of activities to keep the kids busy. They do stuff like face painting, arts and crafts, storytelling, and lots more. The staff are all highly trained and certified child care givers.

If your child is young, they will require you to stay at the Clownfish Club with him/her for an hour or so.

They want to make sure that your kid will adjust alright in the new environment after you leave. If you stay at Hamilton Resort, your kids stay for free at the Clownfish Club.
