Great beach if you want to hang around with the crowd.  Packed with tourists this is the busiest and most packed beach on the gold coast.  Just across the road from Cavill Ave it's an open front beach which stretches for kilometers and joins with Main beach and Broad beach.  Cavill Ave offers lots of coffee shops, restaurants, clubs, shops and hotels.

GPO is the place to be in the Valley if you want to meet young and hip people. Great music, great people and lots of fun to be had. Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the nights to go there.

The town is located on geothermic fault lines which have created an amazing array of thermal springs and colorful sulfur pits.
