Great beach to visit with friends or family. Nice large beach with good waves, surrounded by lots of parkland, grassed area, shaded spots, bbq's, and pubs, cafes,surf life saving club. You can walk through the forest to reach Talebudgera creek which is a great still water swimming spot.

The dramatic Burleigh headland was formed by an ancient volcano and is a sacred spot for Aborigines who once gathered here to fish and feast. It adjoins the Burleigh Head National Park on the banks of the Tallebudgera Creek.
