Broome, Australia

Broome, Australia Broome has this last frontier feeling to it which you can see throughout the entire city. Even though a lot of Australians might overlook Broome as a vacation spot, there is a wealth of relaxation and enjoyment to be had here.

First of all, you won’t be bombarded with too many tourists. However, the city still has a strong enough tourism base that you can enjoy fine dining and great hotels. The atmosphere of Broome comes from the historical blend of Asian cultures and colonial Australia. It is really quite thrilling when you think of all the settlers coming over looking for the big pearls.

The history goes back much further than this though. You can see evidence of time in the ancient pindan cliffs and white salt beaches. This is also the last true oasis before heading into the Kimberly region.

All of these influences combine to make a romantic fusion of culture and surroundings. Broome truly has its own distinct identity and charm unlike any other Australian city.
