A short trip to Phillip Island is a must when visiting Melbourne and one great reason is to see Amazen Things, a world of mazes, puzzles and illusions. This is an all day mind-bending adventure for the young or the young at heart and it is all housed in a sprawling facility. While it is actually aimed at an adult audience, kids will love this place as it outwits them at every turn. With a cafe, playground and BBQ on-site this is a great adventure for the whole family. There’s even mini-golf for when you get through the puzzles and need to rest the mind. Try your hand at reaching the yellow flag – it’s possible but as yet no one has managed to pull it off. There are so many amazing attractions to be seen in the area. The scenery is gorgeous and you will be awed by the Cockburn Mountain range, the gorges, the vast plains, and the feeling of really being “out there.”
There are flights you can take over the largest diamond-producing mine in the world and many other great tours.
