Adrenaline Dive - Townsville

If you are serious about diving, then go out with Adrenalin Dive while you are at Magnetic Island.

They offer many different sorts of trips including 2 day trips and several multi-day dives.

You can also get PADI certified through the Pro Dive Townsville liveabroad.

The one dive you shouldn’t miss is the Yongala Wreck. This is considered one of the best wrecks for diving in Australia.

In 1911, the luxury ship Yongala was sailing from Melbourne to Townsville when it was sunk by a cyclone.

All 121 people on board died. The 110m deck and hull of the Yongala and still intact and can be explored.

What makes Yongala such a good dive actually isn’t the wreck itself but the amount of marine life which can be found.

You can only dive with Adrenalin Dive if you have a minimum of 6 logged dives.

If you have less than 15, you will have to go on a guided dive and pay $30 extra.

Prices vary per tour but start out at around $180 plus $35 for equipment.

St Helens Point - Bay of Fires - Tasmania
St Helens Point has vast sand dunes along the beach. The native grass keeps the dunes stabilized and allows for other plants to grow in the area. Another odd feature of St Helens Point in the fresh water at Onion Creek. It seems really out of place in the Sahara-like landscape.

Every Sunday, the Riverside Art and Craft Markets are open to the public. Despite the name there is an abundance of wares on display and it is not purely restricted to craft items. The markets here have been running for 22 years and are a favorite with locals and tourists alike.
Mammoth Cave - Margaret River - Western Australia
Wow, if visiting Margaret River, you have to see the caves for something really special. My favourite is Mammoth Cave as it is self guided and so peaceful and tranquil.I love the beautiful reflections off the lake inside the cave at Lake Cave and the coloured lights turn it into a mirrored wonderland.
